The indie supergroup kicks off a U.S. tour at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis.
Wild Flag members Carrie Brownstein (Sleater-Kinney, Excuse 17, Portlandia), Janet Weiss (Sleater-Kinney, Quasi, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks), Rebecca Cole (The Minders) and Mary Timony (Helium, Autoclave, Soft Power and a prolific solo career) have combined to create music that is more than just the sum of the band members' musical parts--it's a completely new sound.
The band just released its critically acclaimed, self-titled debut, and will kick off a U.S. tour at the Varsity Theater Monday, Oct. 2.
