Here are some ways you can help with the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief efforts:

Lady Gaga is using her celebrity to raise money for earthquake and tsunami victims by selling red and white wristbands that read, “We pray for Japan.” The bracelets are available for pre-order on the singer’s website and will ship March 25. They cost $5 each and all proceeds go directly towards Japanese relief efforts.

The Red Cross is a worldwide humanitarian organization, and officials at the Japanese Red Cross are accepting donations from the American chapter.

The Japan America Society of Minnesota is asking people to donate via the Red Cross. Local restaurant moto-i is also urging donations to the Red Cross, as well as GlobalGiving.

Don’t forget about the non-human victims of this catastrophe! There are many organizations dedicated to helping find, reunite and relocate animals, such as Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support, the Animal Refuge Kansai, the Animal Miracle Foundation & Network and the Animal Humane Society.
